The Bible and Science: Conflict or Consistency
An open-minded reading of the Bible readily reveals its emphasis on proof and evidence. This talk will consider the nature of science to distinguish between theoretical ideas which can be tested by experiment, and those which deal with the past and are much more speculative. The idea of a God who not only created the Universe but intervenes in it makes a big difference to your view of science, as Isaac Newton, the famous physicist and Biblical student, could testify.
The speaker is a Christadelphian and a Professor of Experimental Physics at Birmingham University
