Wokingham Baroque Concerts String quartets by Haydn and Mozart
This concert is one of a series of Wokingham Baroque Concerts, on the last Wednesday of each month and last for one hour. Italian-born Beatrice Scaldini amazed us all with her vivacious performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in June. We just had to have her back!
Beatrice and her friends are some of the rising stars of the European Early Music Scene. She performs with many prestigious ensembles across Europe, including the English Baroque Soloists/, The Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique, The Gabrieli Consort and Players (P. McCreesh), The European Union Baroque Orchestra and the Hanover Band.
Beatrice Scaldini – baroque violin with Christiane Eidsten (baroque violin) Daniel Shilladay (baroque viola) Jonathan Rees (baroque cello)
Come and hear Haydn’s Opus 77 no 2 and Mozart’s K421, and enjoy this unique musical experience in the historic town-centre church of All Saints within easy walking distance of Wokingham’s train station and many fine restaurants.
