Workshop – Census Records for Family Historians
This workshop explores the origins and context of census, the formats of 19th and 20th century data, and how to get the best out of census documents. It looks briefly at some less familiar or older census and quasi-census records, discusses the pitfalls and limitations in using census data and also considers what the future holds for census.
The workshop is organised by Berkshire Family History Society.
Tickets cost £10 (£9 for society members) and includes tea or coffee. Places are limited and pre-booking is required. Early booking is recommended.
